University Circle is a 500-acre, park-like concentration of educational, scientific, medical,
artistic, musical, and cultural institutions on the eastern edge of the city of Cleveland.
In addition to Case Western Reserve University, the community includes Severance Hall, home of
the world famous
Cleveland Orchestra; the
Cleveland Museum of Art, housing some of the world's
finest collections; the Cleveland Institute of Music; the Cleveland Institute of Art;
The Dittrick Medical History Center; the
Western Reserve Historical Society; the Cleveland Botanical Garden; and the
Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
University Circle attracts people from across the nation to many events including orchestra
performances, art shows, public lectures, exhibits, and concerts. Housing, shopping, and
recreational facilities also are located in the immediate area.
