MSASS faculty are nationally recognized for their work in a variety of disciplines. They conduct
research, demonstration projects, and program evaluation with agencies and organizations throughout
the country and around the world in a variety of disciplines, including substance abuse, child
welfare, health, mental health, aging, youth violence, and others. Faculty acquire funding for
their projects from foundations and government agencies on the local, state, and federal
levels.
Ph.D. students have the opportunity to work with faculty members who conduct applied research
independently and in affiliation with one of several
research centers and institutes that are part of
the Mandel School.
