Professional Practice:

My research and practice interests are in substance abuse assessment, diagnosis and treatment. My current research focus is on barriers and facilitators to treatment for dually diagnosed women in jail. Specifically I am interested in substance abusing women who are diagnosed with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and or generalized anxiety disorders. I am active in clinical and development work with Women's Re-Entry Network and facilitate a therapeutic support group at the Cuyahoga County Corrections Center.  I continue to have an interest in the assessment and treatment of substance related disorders among older adults.
