The Harris Library has put together a number of brown bag lunches on a variety of topics. Here are details:

Presenter:    Victor Groza , Ph.D., LISW-S - Grace F. Brody Professor of Parent-Child Studies, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.

Topic:  Adoption Issues in Guatemala and Kazakhstan

Topic: "Voices of parent advocates within the systems of care model of service delivery."

Summary:  Michelle will discuss her two-year research study and findings in the area of Parent Advocates along with the "wrap around model."  Teresa King, co-author, will talk about what makes a parent advocate and its brief history and background on this subject.  Teresa will also update the audience on what is happening in Cleveland and in the national scene.

9-3-09.       September Issue of Update Now Available.
The September issue of the Harris Library Update is now available on the Library Publications web page in the General section of our website.  Each issue of our newsletter has information we want you to know about and links to content on our website.  You definitely need to check out page 2 of this issue for information on the two brown bag lunch programs that the Harris Library is offering in October.  There is also information about managing your library account online (p.3), using OhioLINK (p. 4), who won our raffles (p.5), the new edition of the APA manual (p.6), and "What is my EBSCO password" (p.7).  Also included are selected items from our New Acquisitions including books, serials and media material.  Our Update has material for everyone, not just students, so check it out.

The Harris Library Hours for the Fall semester 2009 are now available on our Hours web page in the General
section of our site.  Now posted are our hours through the beginning of December.  Exceptions to our regular hours are listed.  Please note that even though we try to maintain the schedule we post, it is subject to change as needed usually because of situations beyond our control.
