This Series focuses on the synthesis of knowledge about evidence-based practices and service delivery initiatives whose effectiveness has been demonstrated by the strength of empirical evidence  in various fields relevant to social work practice such as aging, child welfare,  mental health, or substance abuse.

Series volumes will be well-grounded theoretically and empirically, will advance existing knowledge in the field, and will represent state-of-the-art works that fill existing gaps in the literature.

The interdisciplinary Editorial Advisory Board for the Series includes:  Barbara Berkman (Columbia University), Mark Courtney (University of Chicago), Robert Drake (Dartmouth), William Fals-Stewart (Research Triangle Institute),  Julia Littell (Bryn Mawr), Paula Allen Meares (University of Michigan), Ed Mullen (Columbia University), Enola Proctor (Washington University), Richard Schulz (University of Pittsburgh), & Kathleen Wells (Case Western Reserve University).
